Our Foundation has given over $1.5 million in grants to non-profits in West Michigan. Each quarter our board meets to review grant applications and distribute awards. We are proud of the impact we have on health in West Michigan.
Heartside Gleaning works to identify and recover excess food in our community and use it to feed those in need, with a special focus on nutrition. Our grant funded their Lean Protein Project, which will increase lean protein (eggs and beans) distribution to families in need.
The Trans Foundation is committed to helping transgender people in our community access necessary mental and physical healthcare. Our grant went to their health fund to help cover gaps in medical coverage.
Hope for Single Moms is a local organization created to help young single mothers navigate motherhood, access higher education and more. Our grant helped fund an economic and job training program.
Hope Gardens creates community gardens and provides nutritional education to members of vulnerable communities. Our grant funded the building of a fence for their recent project at West Elementary School.
Renew Mobility helps people with disabilities gain independence through mobility equipment. Our grant helped buy pediatric wheelchair batteries for children whose insurance do not fully cover those costs.
Reach Out to Youth is an educational program for low-income children interested in pursuing medical education. Our grant purchased 300 medical grade stethoscopes for their program which will be gifted to student participants.
Reliance Community Care Partners coordinates supportive care for disabled and aging adults. Our grant provided Senior Self Care Kits for their clients in need.
The Children's Advocacy Center leads the local effort against sexual abuse. Our Alliance grant helped them provide transportation for victims and their families.
Enriched Living is a non-profit that provides adult foster care in Kent County. Our grant supported their obesity health program, and helped purchase necessary choking kits for residents.
Wedgewood provides mental, developmental and behavioral health programs for local youth. Our grant helped build a portion of their new sensory playground for child therapy.
The CHC provides recreation and therapy spaces for children with complex medical diagnoses. Our grant helped provide a technology upgrade for their therapeutic center.
Emmanuel Hospice provides hospice care in West Michigan. Our grant funded their music therapy program, which benefits both patients and their families.

Still ; Run funds running to promote mental health, especially among young women. In addition to coaching and running equipment, they provide counseling and other therapies.
WMCT is a non-profit dedicated to making tennis accessible and welcoming to all. Our grant helped them purchase the Be Nice curriculum to end bullying and train adult leaders to spot and intervene in mental health crises among youth participants.
I Understand is a local organization committed to providing compassionate comfort, hope and understanding for those affected by suicide or mental illness. Our grant provides after-loss kits for family members and friends affected by suicide.
Family Network of Wyoming is committed to providing access to food, medical equipment and more. Our grant provided money for a new community garden.
Our Hope provides therapy, counseling and education to women struggling with addiction. We have supported Our Hope for several year. Our grant this year provided AED's for their new residency treatment facility.
Our Hope is an organization in Grand Rapids focused on women's addiction treatment. Our grant provided detox withdrawl supplies.

Mary Free Bed is a rehabilitation hospital that provides life-saving care following injury or illness. Our grant this year funded recreation equipment and uniforms for their wheelchair and adaptive sports program.
We funded The Self Esteem Project's health and nutrition pilot program, focusing on healthy eating, active living, and food and nutrition security through Grady's Garden. The program targets elementary aged youth in the Grand Rapids Public School system.
We provided lifeguard certification for incoming counselors at this children's summer camp.
Our grant contributed funds for the Boys & Girls Club "Be You Wellness Program," a mental health program that supports young people and their parents in developing resiliency.
This grant provided materials for the art and music therapy program at Mary Free Bed. These therapies help reduce anxiety and encourage patient movement in joyful, holistic, real-world ways.
